Samsung Becomes Official Partner of the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Amsterdam Masters

With pride, 3X3 Unites announces Samsung as the new official partner of the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Amsterdam Masters, which will take place this weekend at the iconic Gashouder in Amsterdam.

Samsung, one of the largest electronics companies in the world, feels a strong connection to the urban vibe of 3x3 basketball—its fast and flashy gameplay, the team spirit, and the young audience it attracts. This partnership aligns with the collaboration Samsung already established with the Dutch Basketball Federation (NBB) for the Olympic Games. Thanks to Samsung’s support, the Dutch 3x3 basketball team achieved the impossible in Paris: Olympic gold.

Jesper Jobse, co-founder of 3X3 Unites, commented: "We are very excited about the partnership with Samsung. Their products perfectly resonate with the world of the World Tour attendees. The fact that such a prestigious brand is partnering with the World Tour shows that we are delivering an event at the highest level."

Ahead of the Olympic Games, Samsung launched the AI training tool Samsung ShotControl on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold. This AI tool allows basketball players to analyze their performance and improve their game. It helps them perform optimally during the critical final moments of a game, especially when the pressure is on. By now, we know this was worth gold!

After their Olympic gold medals, the Dutch 3x3 basketball players aim to perform at their best during the World Tour Amsterdam Masters. All players from the Olympic team will be on display at the Gashouder in Amsterdam, though they won’t all be playing for the same team. Dimeo van der Horst will compete for Team Utrecht, while Jan Driessen, Arvin Slagter, and Worthy de Jong will represent Team Amsterdam.
